Farriers work hard year-round to provide quality hoof care for horses worldwide. Although we hope appreciation is shown all year long, each year we set aside a week dedicated to honoring your work. The 21th annual National Farriers Week, sponsored by American Farriers Journal, will take place from July 7-13, 2019.

Once again, we will be featuring “Farriers Spotlight,” an online compilation of farrier tributes submitted to us from across the industry. From now until July 1, you can encourage horse owners, grooms, trainers, etc., to submit pictures and videos of their farrier working with horses, and share why they appreciate their farrier. If you are a farrier making a difference in the industry, tell us about a mentor who has been meaningful in your career. We also will be accepting video submissions. Share a brief video telling us about a farrier or mentor who has made a difference in your career, or share your own career with us.
