Maryland Farrier Charles Wesley Wolford Passes Away

Hagerstown, Md. farrier Charles Wesley Wolford passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018. He was 87. 

Wolford always loved horses and attended Michigan state for farrier school. 

He owned and trained Thoroughbreds with his father and raced at the Hagerstown Race Track for many years. 

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home located at 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, Md.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital located at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tenn.
