Michigan Farrier James Kevern Passes Away

Muskegon, Mich., farrier James Howard “Jim” Kevern passed away Monday, March 18. He was 77.

Over 50 years, Kevern spent living a dream come true as a farrier as well as a horse trainer and showman. 

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, April 27, 2019, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Fruitport Eagles, 3354 S Dangl Rd, Muskegon, Mich., 49444. 

Memorial may be directed to Noah Project or Harbor Hospice.
