California Farrier Ray Fine Passes Away

Jackson, Calif., farrier Ray Fine passed away Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022. He was 91.

While attending Sutter Creek High School, Fine served as the chapter president of the Future Farmers of America. He also logged and worked as a mechanic with his father.

After enlisting and serving in the United States Army during the Korean War, Fine established Fines Stable where he was a farrier for 6 decades.
