Indiana Farrier David Bruce Passes Away

Kokomo, Ind., farrier David Bruce passed away Oct. 8, 2023, at 61, according to Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory.

Upon graduating from Harrison Community High School, Bruce served in the United States Army Reserves from 1980-1984. He later served in active duty from 2001-2002. Bruce worked for Hoosier Spline Broach Corp. in Kokomo as a machinist for many years before becoming a full-time farrier, operating DB Horseshoeing. Bruce loved to play guitar, piano and drums and was also a member of the Kokomo Road Runners. When he wasn’t partaking in these hobbies, Bruce enjoyed trail riding with his wife and spending time with his family.
