Kansas Farrier Stan Adkins Passes Away

Stanley W. Adkins, 52, owner of S.W. Adkins Farrier Service in Udall, Kan., died Sunday, May 31, 2015.

Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Road Road, Derby, and family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 431 S. Woodlawn, Derby. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Stroud Cemetery in Stroud, Okla.

Memorials are established with the Kansas Farriers Association and the Oklahoma Farrier’s Association. Condolences may be expressed at the online guest book.
