Take A Few Minutes To Recognize An Outstanding Young Farrier

July 1, 2015

The American Farriers Journal staff is seeking nominations for its seventh annual Rising Shoeing Star program. This continuing education recognition program honors fairly new farriers that have made outstanding progress during their first 3 years in the footcare field.

Jointly sponsored by six outstanding farrier industry suppliers, this American Farriers Journal program promotes the importance of further footcare education, while encouraging young shoers to succeed in their careers.

This recognition program honors three outstanding farriers who graduated from a North American farrier school in 2012 and have spent the past 3 years developing their career in the hoof-care profession.

The 2015 Rising Shoeing Star program, was sponsored by Delta Mustad Hoofcare Center, G.E. Forge & Tool, Life Data Labs, Purcell Farrier Supply, R.J. Matthews Co, Vettec and American Farriers Journal.

To nominate a young farrier for this program, please provide a 1-, 2- or 3-page summary explaining why this 2012 farrier school graduate should be named as a Rising Shoeing Star. The deadline for submitting nominations is July 31, 2015.

Email your nomination to ajohnson @lesspub.com, fax it to (262) 782-1252 or mail it to American Farriers Journal, Attn: Rising Shoeing Star, P.O. Box 624, Brookfield, WI  53008-0624
