2015 National Farriers Week Recap

July 13, 2015

Now that the 2015 National Farriers Week celebration has come to a close, we wanted to take a moment to recap some of the highlights from our 17th annual event.

  • The week started out with our 4th annual web-exclusive feature, the Farriers Spotlight, which is a compilation of submissions sent to us on behalf of farriers in honor of National Farriers Week. We encourage you to take a moment to read through the tributes we received, and leave your own "Thank You" in the comments section.

  • International Hoof-Care Summit Educational Partner, SmartPak, gave us a laugh by producing a video in honor of National Farriers Week called "Stuff Riders Say...to Farriers." Enjoy the video below.

  • In addition to the video above, SmartPak also wrote a blog dedicated to National Farriers Week and showing gratitude to farriers.

  • Every year we create a certificate that can be given to a farrier in honor of National Farriers Week. Even though the week is technically over, we still have the certificate available for free to download and personalize.

  • We were offering exclusive deals each day of National Farriers Week via email and on our Facebook page. While the National Farriers Week offers have come and gone, we do offer a new deal to our Hoof-Care Advisor e-newsletter subscribers every issue. If you haven't already, be sure to subscribe to our free bi-weekly email newsletter.

Thank you to everyone who participated in one way or another during National Farriers Week. Be sure you extend your thanks year-round to the men and women who work hard to keep our horses sound. And to all the farriers out there, THANK YOU!
