1 Million Is A Big Number, But Just How Big?

October 1, 2015

95 Miles — The distance that 1 million horseshoes laid end to end would stretch.
24,038 Years — The amount of time it would take for a horse to go through 1 million shoes, if re-shod every 5 weeks.
208 Full-Grown Elephants — The number of elephants it would take to tip the scales against a pile of 1 million horseshoes.
358 Feet — The height of a stack of 1 million one dollar bills. That’s as tall as a 35-story building!
Eleven 50-Gallon Drums — The number of 50-gallon drums it would take to hold 1 million two-inch long horseshoe nails.

This week the American Farriers Journal YouTube channel, AFJTV, broke the 1-million viewers mark.

We are humbled that our videos have been a valuable resource for the hoof-care industry. Thank you for your viewership! Please feel free to comment below if you have any suggestion for future videos that you would like to see.
