Pennsylvania Farrier Kevin Fort Passes Away

Pittston, Pa., farrier Kevin A. Fort passed away Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, while on vacation in Cancun, Mexico. He was 61.

He was a farrier by trade and spent most of his career in the racehorse industry. For the past 20 years, he operated a blacksmith shop at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono. He also worked at several farms in the Pocono area.
