William S. Pieh, owner of Centaur Forge in Burlington, Wis., was a lifelong farrier, innovator and key contributor to the hoof-care industry. He spent 40 years building one of the nation’s top farrier and blacksmith supply businesses. Today his youngest daughter Amy follows in her father’s footsteps as the owner of Pieh Tool Co. in Camp Verde, Ariz.
In tribute to her father, Amy introduced the “Pieh Legacy Collection,” featuring a limited edition of 51 anvils modeled after the original “The Billy” design he created over 40 years ago. She has donated one of these anvils to American Farriers Journal for a giveaway at the 2025 International Hoof-Care Summit. U.S. farriers who register by December1 will be entered into a drawing for the 145-pound anvil, valued at $1,669, with special pricing available to attendees until February 1, 2025.
Join Shane Westman for an exclusive hands-on wet lab to apply a novel sole-hoof wall immobilization technique for stabilizing P3 fractures.
British farrier Simon Curtis will hold 2 exclusive book-signing sessions. All paid Summit attendees are also eligible to win a drawing for a 4-book set personally autographed by the International Horseshoeing Hall of Famer.
International Horseshoeing Hall of Famer Mitch Taylor of the Kentucky Horseshoeing School presents a special, extended equine limb dissection featuring an interactive discussion of vital structures that improves your understanding of qualify hoof care.
