The Performance Horse Hoof-Care Classroom is American Farriers Journal’s first online event focused on hunters and jumpers. This free-to-attend online educational event will feature a series of on-demand video presentations you can watch online on your own schedule at any time and from anywhere, during April 24-26, 2020. You’ll gain practical information about shoeing for different surfaces, managing common pathologies of hunters/jumpers, competition judging and how it relates back to farriery, and advice from leading professionals in the hunter/jumper field.

There are two options to attend: 1) FREE ACCESS requires no signup fee and gives you on-demand video access to 8 thought-provoking hunter/jumper sessions for 3 days only, April 24-26. 2) VIP ACCESS requires a $49 signup fee and gives you unlimited access to all 8 thought-provoking hunter/jumper sessions, plus access to 8 educational presentations from the 2019 Farrier Business Success Academy. You'll also get extended access to presentations for 12 months beginning on the date of your registration.

If you have previously signed up as a FREE ACCESS attendee and now wish to upgrade your registration to VIP ACCESS so you can continue accessing the video content for 12 months, plus receive access to additional presentation content and attendee benefits, please submit the VIP ACCESS registration form and payment at the bottom of the webpage found here.

To access the presentations available to VIP ACCESS attendees-only, you must first have a free website user account on americanfarriers.com

How will I access the presentations?See more
Since this is an online event, you will be able to access the sessions from anywhere as long as you have an internet connection. When you registered for the event, you should have received a confirmation email with a link that you will visit when the event begins at 8 a.m. on April 24. We’ll also send you an email at 8 a.m. on April 24 with a link to access the Hunter/Jumper Performance Horse Hoof-Care Classroom presentations. The event ends at 6 p.m. CDT on April 26, at which time you will no longer be able to access the presentation videos unless you have purchased VIP ACCESS. If you upgraded to the VIP Access, your access to the content will continue through April 26, 2021.
I upgraded to a 12-month VIP membership. How will I continue to access the presentations for 12-months following the date that I first registered?See more
After the event has concluded on April 26, as a VIP attendee you can still access the presentations for 12 months following the date of your initial registration. To continue to view the presentations after the event has concluded, you will return to the conference website link that is emailed to you upon registration. Please bookmark this link for future reference.

Can I receive continuing education credits for attending the Hunter/Jumper Performance Horse Hoof-Care Classroom?See more
Absolutely. Each session that you watch in its entirety is eligible for .75 hours of continuing education credits through the American Association of Professional Farriers and International Association of Professional Farriers. To receive your continuing education credits, simply fill out and submit the AAPF/IAPF online form once the event is finished.
