The Northeast Association of Equine Practitioners (NEAEP) recently announced a new relationship with the American Farrier’s Association (AFA).

According to a letter to NEAEP members from David Dawson, the organization’s executive director, the associations have formed a “working relationship” to “help support the importance of the Veterinary/Farrier relationship.”

“The NEAEP is working hard to narrow the gap between the two professions,” writes Dawson.

With the agreement, AFA members have access to a $50 discount on registration to the annual NEAEP symposium, which will take place Sept. 26-29, 2018, in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

Earlier in April, the American and International Associations of Professional Farriers (AAPF/IAPF) announced a similar partnership with the NEAEP.
