Wallkill, N.Y. farrier William Henry MacMullin passed away on March 24, 2018. He was 87. 

MacMullin was the resident farrier and horseman at Blue Chip Farms from the 1970s to ’90s. He was responsible for the care of Hall of Fame stallions Most Happy Fella and On The Road Again during his career. 

He also worked on the race track for many years and was named the 1977 Horseman of the Year. 

The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame in Goshen, N.Y. or the Alzheimer's Association.
