Do you want to expand your career in the equine industry? Do you have previous horse handling experience, general equine knowledge and a valid driver’s license? If so, Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital is seeking a farrier, needed at both the Lexington and Saratoga Springs locations. 

Both positions are full-time Monday through Friday. The farrier will aid the equine veterinary podiatrist. Daily hours will depend on the caseload for the day. The farrier will be responsible for pulling shoes, trimming hooves, prepping for and assisting with procedures, stocking and cleaning the truck, billing and inventory control, potentially some driving and more. 

Rood & Riddle is looking to fill these positions immediately. Competitive benefits package is offered. Wages are dependent upon prior farrier experience. For the right candidate, on-the-job training will be provided. All applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S.
