Gadsden, Ala., farrier Jackie Bert Blanton passed away Oct. 24, 2018. He was 81.
Blanton enjoyed blacksmithing and was a known horseman in the area. He was also known for his highly customized farrier work, which drew many people to him.
There will be a visitation and memorial service on Oct. 28, 2018, at Crossville First Baptist Church. Please, no flowers.
