Staying Safe is Critical
Safety in the workplace is a major concern among farriers. Only 32% of full-time farriers are willing to work alone when trimming or shoeing. Another 30% sometimes do, but prefer not to work alone.
Another 30% of full-time farriers rarely work alone, while 8% of farriers refuse to never trim and shoe without someone else being present.
