Do you know an equine professional who has been integral in helping an at-risk horse? The Right Horse Initiative wants to recognize their hard work.

The Right Horse Initiative will recognize a farrier, veterinarian or veterinary technician, trainer, volunteer, community partner (such as a riding club, event center, boarding barn, etc.) and a wild card (such as an advocate, fundraiser, media member, etc.) who have dedicated their time and efforts to helping horses in transition.

All equine welfare advocates in the United States are invited to nominate one or more individuals or organizations. Awards will be given based on the nominee’s contributions to equine adoption efforts and the success and impact of the adoption organization they serve.

To nominate, fill out the form at The Right Horse Initiative website. Nominations are due no later than Sept. 16, 2019.
