Protect Yourself Against Liability Issues
While the general public is more lawsuit happy than ever before, many farriers still aren’t carrying liability insurance.
While this should be “must” insurance coverage, only 46% of full-time and 30% of part-time farriers have invested in this type of coverage. Without liability coverage, a costly lawsuit could wipe out not only a farrier’s business, but also his or her personal and family investments.
When it comes to disability insurance that can protect your income while being injured, only 26% of full-time farriers carry disability insurance followed by 37% of part-time farriers.
