Amarillo, Texas, farrier Alex Coleman “Alec” Bell passed away Friday, Nov. 8, 2019. He was 70.

Bell graduated from West Texas State University with a degree in Ag Business and Economics. Throughout his education, he worked sorting cattle at the stockyards, the LX Ranch and the Fain Ranch. He was a dedicated farrier and was a member of Will Rogers Range Riders since 1993, served as chairman on the fair rodeo board and was a founder of the Texas Cowboy Rodeo Assn.

Services were conducted Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019, at Bell Ave. Church of Christ. Graveside services took place in Dozier Cemetery.
