Brewster, N.Y., farrier John Boylan passed away Monday, Jan. 13, 2020.

Boylan was a graduate of Manhattan College and worked as a farrier throughout New York and Connecticut for more than 40 years. He was an avid fan of harness racing and owner and trainer of horses that ran at both Yonkers and Monticello racetracks. 

Family and friends are invited to Cassidy-Flynn Funeral Home Inc. from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday for visitation. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2020, at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Mount Kisco, N.Y. Burial will follow St. Francis Cemetery in Mount Kisco.
