About the Speaker
Originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, Stuart Muir earned his New Zealand Farrier Certification and worked with top sport horses and racehorses. In 2010, after attending the International Hoof-Care Summit in Cincinnati, Ohio, Muir began a 10-day externship with Dr. Scott Morrison at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital. He completed a second externship at Rood & Riddle the following year and accepted the resident farrier position there in 2012. Muir later earned his certified journeyman farrier certification. He lectures at clinics around the world and is a frequent presenter at the International Hoof-Care Summit.
