York, Pa., farrier George Sharp passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021. He was 80.

Sharp served as a corporal in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was self-employed as a farrier. He enjoyed blacksmithing, horses, being outdoors and spending time with his family.

A Celebration of Life will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Rocky Ridge Park in York in the Grey Squirrel pavilion. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Kidney Foundation, American Heart Association, SPCA, or the Alzheimer’s Association.
