Jan Bloom, the president of Louisville, Ky.-based Grand Circuit Products, passed away after a short illness Sunday, June 6, 2021. She was 70.
She graduated Transylvania University in 1972 and pursued graduate studies at The University of Kentucky. She enjoyed a long career in real estate before she married International Horseshoeing Hall of Fame member Steve Bloom on June 28, 2003. Together they ran Grand Circuit until his death in 2015. Katie Faris, Jan’s daughter, and the Grand Circuit leaders will continue operations of the hoof-care business.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Monday, June 28 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Dr., Louisville, KY 40243. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m.
