Some 76% of British farriers reported having at least one injury during their careers that required hospital treatment. Some 32% of farriers reported visiting a hospital three or more times due to injuries that occurred during hoof-care appointments.

Families Often Have Only One Member Involved with Horses
Some 53% of horse owners live in households with two members. A total of 95% of these horse owners live in households with more than four members.
Some 53% of the responding horse owners indicated only one member of their household is involved with horses while another 36% report that two members of their household are involved with horses.
