A familiar name sits atop the World Championship Blacksmiths standings after winning the first two events of the season.
Stanley, N.M., farrier Chris Madrid followed up his victory at the season-opening Roadrunner Classic in Edgewood, N.M., by capturing the top spot in Fitchburg, Wis. Derek Schueler of Kewaskum, Wis., won Category 1, while Ryan Stoops of Clinton, Ohio, claimed Category 2.
Madrid compiled 229 points to finish first, followed by Stan Mullen of Williamsburg, Ky., with 221 points and Robert Jukes of Weatherford, Texas, with 209. Justin Hite of Greensboro, N.C., won the Sandbox Finishing Novice Division with 154 points.
