Michigan and Florida farrier Wade Lynch passed away Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021. He was 73.
After graduating from Watervliet High School in Michigan, Lynch proudly served in the United States Army. After the service, Lynch moved to Florida for several years. He worked as a farrier, attended swap meets and sold flower bulbs. A local history buff, Lynch enjoyed sharing his knowledge about Watervliet through the Facebook pages he helped create “You Know You're From Watervliet” and was active in the history of House of David.
When Lynch wasn’t knee deep in researching the history of his community, you could find him tending to his flower gardens. Lynch would adorn his greenhouse in the winter as a Christmas wonderland with many trees and decorations.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, outdoors at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet. Memorials may be made in Lynch’s memory to North Berrien Historical Society
You are invited to leave a memory of Wade on the Hutchins Funeral Home website.
