American Farriers Team organizers are accepting registrations for the 2022 team trials.
Competitors will earn points for the American Farriers Team over the course of three contests in the coming year. The maximum number of registrants is 30. All current team members have been offered and accepted entry for the trials, reducing the open registration spots to 25. A wait list will be opened when the maximum is reached.
The first competition will be May 6-7 at Five Star Horseshoeing Schoo in Minco, Okla. The judges will be International Horseshoeing Hall of Fame members Mark Milster, CJF, and Craig Trnka, CJF.
The second competition will be Sept. 2-3, while the final contest will be Nov. 7-11 during the National Forging & Horseshoeing Competition at the American Farrier’s Association annual Convention in Little Rock, Ark.
The first two team trials will cost $400 per event. Fees during the National Forging & Horseshoeing Competition will remain the same. The top four points earners will receive payouts sponsored by Emerson Horseshoe Supply.
