Bimeda is launching a sedative and analgesic option that can be used for providing safe equine hoof care.

Veterinarians can administer generic detomidine hydrochloride (ANADA 200 – 674) in minor surgical and diagnostic procedures in mature horses and yearlings. Its 10mg/mL injection is available in both 20mL and 5mL sizes. The sedative and analgesic injection is approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and manufactured in an FDA approved facility.
