Hoyt Fulton Poston passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at his residence after a long battle with dementia. He was 71.

Born June 20, 1950 in Conway, S.C., the was the son of the late George “Pete” Washington Poston and Mary Etta Collins Poston. Hoyt later married Donna Crowley and they had four children.

Hoyt loved horses, dancing and Pepsi. Hoyt was a hard-working self-employed farrier for over 40 years. Hoyt frequented Cool Springs Store, where he gained the title of “Unofficial Mayor of Cool Springs.” 

Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Cool Springs Southern Methodist Church cemetery with Rev. Stevie Baker officiating. The family will receive friends and family following the service.
