Clovis, N.M., Billy Jack Eshleman passed away Dec. 6, 2022. He was 69.

Eshleman always lived close to his family home where he grew up in Grier. He often said his home was “where the pavement ends, and the West begins.” He enjoyed the old West, and family history. As a farrier, he created horseshoe crafts for his wife Charlene, and family and friends. He enjoyed camping in Cimarron Canyon fishing for trout in the river. He rode broncs and bulls and was a finalist in high school rodeo in North Dakota. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Dec. 12, 2022, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1021 N. Prince St., Clovis, N.M. 88101.
