Eaton, Ind., farrier Douglas R. Weber died at his home on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022. He was 80.

After graduating from Eaton High School in 1960, Weber served his country in the U.S. Army. He attended Midwest Horseshoeing School and worked as a farrier until 2016. In retirement, he found enjoyment in working alongside his son Richard at Quality Hydraulics. He was a long-time member of the Indiana Farriers Association.

Graveside services with military rites by the Delaware County Veterans Honor Guard will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2022, at Eaton Union Cemetery, 16301 N. State Rd. 3, Eaton.
