In this session, Mt. Airy, Md., farrier Doug Anderson will share the results from his study. His goal was to quantify the external hoof wall morphologies, growth lines and distal weight bearing border with internal morphologies of primary epidermal lamina length, curvature and bifurcations.
Anderson’s aim was to also establish the correlative nature of their relationship providing insight to the functionality of the hoof capsule apparatus.
