About a year ago, my mare was dealing with lameness that our local vets couldn’t seem to pin down. It was decided we needed a “bigger gun,” and a farrier who’s also a veterinarian made the most sense. Adam Pendleton’s clinic is about a 3-hour drive for us, so visits mean a very long day, but it’s well worth the time. He’s figured out what we need to keep my mare in top condition and does a great job helping us understand what she needs and why. To my knowledge, he’s one of only seven in the world with both certifications. We’re so lucky to have him close to home.
