The University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center is seeking a chief of farrier services. In this role, the farrier will provide consultations and podiatry services, including therapeutic shoeing and collaborative care for inpatient and outpatient large animals. This also includes simple shoeing, lameness and pre-purchase exams and other specialty services. The farrier may participate in research with the New Bolton Center faculty and join ongoing projects.
Requirements include 2-3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience with specialized training in podiatry or Certified Journeyman Farrier status.
The salary range for this position is $43,919-125,000 depending on qualifications, experience and skills.
