Southern California farrier Tom Trosin has been elected vice president of the American Farrier's Association by the organization's Board of Directors.
Trosin will serve out the remainder of the term of Buck McClendon, who became president-elect due to the resignation of Steve Sermersheim from that post. AFA President Eric Nygaard said Sermersheim resigned because he needed to help take care of his aging parents.
Trosin chairs the AFA's Bylaws Committee and is also the immediate past president of the Western State Farrier's Association. He is an AFA Certified Farrier.
