American Farriers Journal is pleased to announce several changes to its award-winning editorial staff.
Jeremy McGovern Michael LoCicero
Jeremy McGovern has been promoted to Executive Editor for both American Farriers Journal and the International Hoof-Care Summit at the publication's Brookfield, Wis., headquarters.
"In this new role, McGovern will have full oversight of content, including planning, staff/freelance assignments and on time production," says Frank Lessiter, AFJ Editor/Publisher. "The Purdue University graduate has taken quickly to his understanding of equine hoof-care since joining the company in 2008 as an Associate Editor.
"Not only has he demonstrated a passion and commitment in delivering quality content for our Equine Division's subscribers and attendees, but he has also served as Lessiter Publications' E-Media Director since mid-2011. During that time, he established the department, oversaw its staffing and managed numerous growth initiatives."
Michael LoCicero recently joined the AFJ staff as Associate Editor and will be involved in all content-based activity with print and electronic media within the equine hoof-care area. The Port Washington, Wis., native is a graduate of Marquette University and comes to the AFJ staff with reporting experience for a daily newspaper and a background in social media.
