Walker Cooper studied archaeology in college, but now is interested in becoming a farrier.
He's found that federal financial aid programs don't exist for farrier schools, like he did in his university days... and certainly for someone who already holds a bachelor's degree. For now. he can't afford going to school, but still wants to become a farrier. He's wondering if an apprenticeship will serve as a complete education experience.
Do I need to go to shoeing school or can I learn just as much through a traditional apprenticeship with a qualified farrier?

I'm writing this small list of items that I encountered while attempting to beccome a certified farrier! I started my acquisition nearly three years ago. I started with an apprenticeship with a standard-breed farrier.side and definitely not for a Thoroughbred.
