Charges of animal cruelty against farrier Blake Primm were recently dismissed in a Tennessee country courtroom. The Louisville, Tenn., farrier had been arrested and charged in conjunction with three others in a soring case in mid-June.
After the article that appears on pages 50 to 53 of the September/October 2013 issue of American Farriers Journal was written, Blount County, Tenn., general sessions judge Robert L. Headrick dismissed the animal cruelty charges against Primm, trainer Larry Joe Wheelon and two employees of Wheelon’s, Randall Gunter and Brandon Lunsford.
More details on the case will be coming.
