After having a "discussion" about this with a trainer, she stalked off to her office in a huff. She returned, waving a large dressage training handbook at me. I should have asked her to show me the part where it mentions shoeing this particular horse. Even better, I should have had my copy of Butler's P-2 to wave back at her! It doesn't say how to shoe that horse, either.
