That was our fantasy and, as long as we were aiming for perfection, we thought we’d take our quest to someone who knows more than a thing or two about building top-notch rigs.

Brent Chidsey, owner of Stone Well Bodies & Equipment Inc., the widely known rig shop in Genoa, N.Y., that turns out many of the most coveted rigs in farriery, responded with a rig that could leave a bar full of farriers speechless at closing time.

Sparkling Beauty

It’s an eye-catcher, all right. It starts with a 2006 Ford F-350 Super Duty Lariat pickup with a four-door crew cab. It’s painted in a two-tone color scheme of dark, metallic copper and a sand-like Arizona Beige.

The truck is as beautiful inside as outside. It boasts the King Ranch package, which includes leather captain’s chairs with heated seats.
