DURING THE American Farrier’s Association annual convention in Chattanooga, Tenn., in late February, members re-elected Bob Earle of Chino Valley, Ariz., as vice president and Walt Taylor of Albuquerque, N.M., as treasurer. Craig Trnka of Edgewood, N.M., continues as president and David Edens of Graham, Texas, as treasurer.

A Top placings in the North American Challenger Cup went to: 1st — Billy Crothers, Leighton Buzzard, Wales; 2nd — Derek Gardner, Cumbria, England; 3rd — Darren Bazin, Northants, England.; 4th — Jim Quick, Longmont, Colo.; 5th — John McNerney, Platteville, Colo;.; and 6th — Todd Walker, Johnson City, Texas. Crothers also won the Overall High Point Award and Quick was the national high point winner.
