The Mustad Hoofcare Group in Bulle, Switzerland, recently announced a worldwide regrouping of major markets in the footcare world.
The commercial responsibilities for both the European region (including the Middle East and Africa) and the Asia region have been combined. Remco Van Der Linden will lead this extended region from offices in the Netherlands. Since Delta joined the Mustad group in 2008, he has led the transition into a joint Delta Mustad team and has managed the U.S. commercial operations for the past 4 years.
Mustad is also establishing a distribution center in the Netherlands.
Another part of the restructuring deals with combining the commercial responsibilities for North America and Latin America. Juan Carlos Agudelo will take charge of the extended region from the Forest Lake, Minn., facilities. Agudelo, who has been in charge of the Latin American region, has spent 17 years in the footcare industry and previously served as commercial director of the group’s Emcoclavos operation.
“As the world leader in hoofcare products, including horseshoes, nails, rasps and tools, we have the duty to continuously look for ways to improve our production, distribution and market presence as well as to reinvent ourselves,” say Hans and Clarin Mustad, owners of Mustad Hoofcare.
Petter Binde, the Mustad Hoofcare co-CEO who is responsible for the group’s sales and marketing efforts adds, “We are very confident that these organizational changes will further strengthen our ability to compete and maintain our leading position for the future.”
