Virgil Thomas Lowell, a farrier from Phoenix, Ariz., passed away Monday, June 15, 2015, in Phoenix. He was 55.
Lowell worked as a farrier and became the instructor at Western School of Horseshoeing. He also taught horseshoeing at the college level. He was an animal person. There wasn't an animal he didn't love and wanted to bring home.
Lowell will be laid to rest at noon Saturday, June 27 at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road. Viewing will be between 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 26 at Phoenix Memorial Park.
