Burial for James Lawrence “Larry” Attebery, 77, formerly of Lincoln, Ill., will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Middletown, Ill.

Attebery passed away peacefully March 17, 2015, at his home in White Pine, Mich. He was born Aug. 25, 1938, in Crossville, Ill., and moved to Lincoln in 1948. He graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 1957 and Lincoln College in 1965. He was a longtime resident of Lincoln, Ill. He was a self-employed farrier working in the central Illinois area. Upon his retirement in 2007, he moved to White Pine, Mich., where he enjoyed many outdoor pursuits in a colder climate.
