Brown Summit, N.C., farrier James “Jimmy” Willard Johnson passed away Monday, Nov. 23, 2015, at his residence. He was 72.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at New Garden Friends Meeting Cemetery, 801 New Garden Rd., in Greensboro. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm St. Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405, or to the charity of one’s choice.
