The United States Bureau Of Land Management is looking for skilled farriers to help those who adopt wild horses and burros through its programs. If you’re a farrier, you might be getting a letter in the mail from the BLM soon.
The BLM knows that proper hoof care is critical to the health and well being of any horse or burro and would like help from farriers in encouraging the adopters of wild horses and burros to seek quality farrier services.
Every year, 6,000 wild horses and burros from across the country are put up for adoption by the BLM. Many of the adopters are new to horse and burro ownership and are unfamiliar with where to find quality hoof care. The BLM believes that your services can make a tremendous difference is ensuring proper care for these animals, while also offering you the opportunity to make new and lasting business relationships with wild horses and burro adopters.
The BLM would like to help you get together with wild horse and burro adopters by providing your contact information to them.
