Kwantlen Polytechnic University in Surrey, British Columbia, is seeking farrier instructors to provide short-term delivery of Foundation of Farrier training, which can extend from a single day to several weeks.

A qualified candidate will be an American Farrier’s Association certified journeyman farrier and have a minimum 8 years of current industry experience. The knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with students also are required. Preference will be given to applicants with a demonstrated record of teaching successfully, current field experience and 2 years supervisory experience. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Outlook. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.
