Objective: To characterize the microscopic anatomy of the laminar interface at the distal margin of the distal phalanx in equine forefeet with the presence of a crena marginis solearis.
Sample population: Six equine cadaver forefeet with radiographic evidence of a crena marginis solearis and two equine cadaver forefeet without radiographic evidence of a crena marginis solearis.
