Campti, La., farrier Walter LeBrun passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017, after a long, hard battle with leukemia. He was 68.
During his early years, LeBrun worked for the Riley Beaird Co. in Shreveport for 10 years. He later became self-employed doing what he really loved — shoeing horses throughout the area.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2017, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, La. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017, at the funeral home. Internment will follow at Nativity Catholic Cemetery in Campti, La.
